Job Seekers Challenge 2

Update:

For week 1:

I spent £47.67, leaving around £8.58 left over!

So far, this week (on my last day), I have spent £40.75. It’s easier than I thought - but then, I have been quite boring these last few weeks and not done a huge amount of things!

UK Job Seekers Challenge

I decided to set myself a challenge this week: to live only from the amount that people get on Job Seeker’s Allowance. This, for a single person under 25, is £56.25 a week. I’m not including rent in this, because I think you can get housing help but also that alone would be £20 over the budget for me right now.

I’m currently in my last year as a student, but decided to do this as I know the job market is tough and may indeed need to live off this next year sometime, if I cannot find a job.

Also, I wanted to see how feasible it is to live off this. I have one day left and I have spent £47.67 - leaving about £8.50 for my last day, which I hope is do-able!

I will be continuing this challenge for at least another week

Make up wipes

I have decided to buy some face wipes, due to the cloth being too rough and not effective enough.
